I've had an injury since 2002, iwas only provide 20% and been difficult to maintain a job. The injury to my neck became worse. I went to Va er in Johnson city, tn. The doctor there would not do any tests, sent me home with drugs and to see my prime care in Knoxville tn. When x-ray done I was told by Va prime care that I now have scoliosis. In the same month the Va diagnose both my husband and I, both veterans, were diagnosed with scoliosis. I knew something was wrong, I saw civilian doctors and was told I needed immediate surgery to prevent paralysis. Why did the VA not see this and due to the prolonged entreatment I have myelopathy. When I applied for temporary 100% disability for surgery, the Va said they denied me due to no records. They were sent, miraculously after my senator contacted them they had all the records. I have sent to be reconsidered yet they won't upload the request in the system which is when they will finally work on it. I had surgery Jan 12, it is now may 12. I have received no assistance. I am around 15000.00 in debt and going to court over bills. It is a sad day in America when veterans are treated this way.
