I was in an auto accident on 10/05/2010. The person that hit my car had Hanover auto insurance. I did not go through my insurance co. bcause I did not cause the accident. I spoke to someone at Hanover and explained that I needed the 500.00 deductable that I have to be paid for by your insurance company along with a rented car while my car was being repaired. There didn't seem to be a problem and I had the car repaired. When I went to get my car they said that they never heard from Hanover and I had to pay the 500.00 plus the rental. When I spoke to Dawn from Hanover she said that she never said that Hanover would pay for it and I must be mistaken. I was not mistaken and I know what she told me. I was not the cause of the accident and I should not have to pay for someone's mistake. I have since been in contact with my insurance company and they are now going to take legal action to get my money back. I think this is a horrible way to conduct a business when you know deep down that Hanover should be liable for there customers mistake. That is why we have insurance. I am hoping this matter can be straightened out with in a reasonable time.
