I purchase a Bay window from the window guys and had it installed in May of 2008. The first incident I had was the window being to small. The person I spoke to the day they installed the window was Gina. She had informed me that the window needed to smaller than the old one for settling purposes( Lie) Than they did not cap the top or bottom of the outsde of the window. I called on that and they did send someone out to correct that, At that time I showed the guys the interior wood on the sitting board portion of the window. how it was starting to crack. I was told that once painted that would not be visable.Well it only cracked worse, in several places and continues to get worse.It has even cracked on the upper wood portion and along the molding. When I ask to have it repaired I was told wood is not a part of the warranty. Although it is a part of the window. There is definatly a problem with the wood used in this window an dit needs attention .Like I said it continues to get worse and the new window looks like CRAP.
