THRILL OF ITALY is a boutique Italy-focused tour operator and travel planning company based in Oak Brook, Illinois, helping travelers create personalized journeys throughout Italy. Rather than relying on fixed, one-size-fits-all itineraries, the company works with couples, families, friends, and private groups to build trips around individual interests, preferred destinations, travel style, pace, and budget. Its team includes Italy destination specialists with firsthand knowledge of the country and relationships with local guides, drivers, accommodations, and experience providers.

The company arranges custom private tours, multi-day Italy itineraries, hotel stays, private drivers, airport and intercity transfers, licensed guides, sightseeing excursions, reserved attraction access, food and wine experiences, cooking activities, cycling trips, and other curated experiences throughout Italy. Travelers can explore major destinations such as Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Venice, Sicily, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia, Calabria, Umbria, and other regions while still having their itinerary shaped around the kind of experience they personally want.

THRILL OF ITALY places particular emphasis on private transportation and coordinated ground logistics. Its network includes English-speaking drivers and guides, insured vehicles, airport transfers, private sightseeing transportation, cruise-port arrangements, and transportation capable of accessing areas where ordinary vehicles may face restrictions. The company also designs shore excursions and can coordinate transportation, guides, accommodations, activities, and reservations as part of a larger itinerary.

The overall approach is centered on making an Italy vacation feel personal and well organized rather than like a conventional group tour. Clients can begin with an existing itinerary for inspiration or have an entirely new trip designed around specific interests such as Italian food and wine, history, art, coastal destinations, countryside experiences, active travel, or relaxed private touring.
