Tiki soul, say want you want. the saddest thing is that you are in the wrong, and you won't give a REAL apology. In fact, i have both the email proof of the graphic that i approved, that was wrong! and an email from you admitting you did it wrong! To say that you ignore email chains is cop out. The email chain was not long at all, and that is how we communicated to make sure that companies like yours don't pull crap like this.

We are saddened by this situation, honestly. We want all our clients to be happy and we are totally taken a back by this because we have never had a bad review. But our client didn't mention the following in their review. The client was given a detailed invoice/proof. Everything concerning their surfboard design was written in detail on their PayPal invoice. Making payment of that invoice was their acknowledgment that all information on the invoice was correct and accurate. The email chains with custom clients can get quite long, with clients changing their minds many times along the way. It get's confusing, this is why we have a final invoice/proof, to make sure we have everything correct before starting production. Our invoices do stress the fact that the surfboard will be designed EXACTLY as seen on the PayPal invoice and to make certain all is accurate before making payment. It states "surfboard will be designed exactly as it appears on this invoice". In the end their surfboard was created EXACTLY as described on their invoice and we answered each and every email they sent promptly as we always do before and after payment is received.. As for the PayPal system, yes we use PayPal for custom work and for it's stellar reputation and ease of use. (we do take credit cards directly on our website) We have never had one issue using their system. PayPal is not a "sketchy" way to process transactions as most know, it's the #1 way to make electronic payments and protect the buyer. As for our surfboards, yes they are purely decorative. They are designed with the exact measurements of a Lost Surfboard. Our surfboards are flat and blank on the back. A fact that we do not hide. It's stated many times on our website. They are designed to hang flat against your wall, hence the flat, undecorated back side. We do however coat the back with a thin layer of epoxy to seal it from the elements. Double sided designs are available if that is something you are looking for. We regret this situation and totally understand their frustration but leaving a review that does not portray an accurate account of the situation was not quite fair on their part. We are a sister team of artists and we take pride in our work and take offense when it is unjustly attacked. Even in the email we received from them after the surfboard was delivered, the client stated that "the surfboard is beautiful, but their are mistakes" They are just upset. Tiki Soul got my order wrong and did nothing. I ordered a short board and they sent me a long board. They say i didn't read my invoice or the the proof. But i have an email chain that confirms my order of a different proof. They also send their invoice from a third party that is not of the business name "Tiki Soul" and have you pay through PayPal...Very SKETCHY. I should have known something was wrong after they received my money they would not return phone calls or emails for days on end. Before they get your money they are on it and appear friendly, but that all changes once they get their cash. They were and are still very rude about this situation and did nothing to rectify it. Furthermore, Tiki Soul makes "signs" in blanks that are loosely shaped like surfboards. They are NOT decorative surfboard replicas. They do no show you the bottoms the the boards because they are flat, so you are basically get a something that looks like half of a surf board---the top half. Maybe they will comment here like they did on their facebook page and you can see how cold and passive aggressive they are...BUYER BEWARE! It looks like Tiki Soul may be spamming review sites with their own positive reviews, one more reason not to trust them.
