SBC/AT&T let an unauthorized person set up this service without my knowledge and then continued to bill me for it for 17 months! This is absolutely ridiculous. It is billed as Total Protection Plus VMail with a monthly fee of $14.95!!. Since I already pay AT&T for Callnotes (their voicemail service) and we pay for additional storage and time to keep messages longer. So I was shocked to learn that AT&T said they had an authorized caller set up the service and that they couldn't cancel the service or even tell me what the service was for. I called this company and said I never signed up. They never challenged my assertion but told me who signed up for the service. When I said I never authorized it, they cancelled it immediately. To ensure though, I'm also demanding that AT&T never let anyone but me add ANYTHING to my phone bill account. Watch out for this one.
