Best buy Geek Squad incorrectly downloaded the TrendMicro Anti-virus program which they suggested we buy (or the product was defective), it did not work correctly, and when we called Geek Squad for several days in a row, they would not answer the phone. We got help from a friend, uninstalled the product, loaded Avast, and everything was cleaned up easily. Then when we tried to return the Trend Micro, Best Buy tried to avoid giving us our money back and said we had to contact Trend Micro--whose phone number on the CD was 1-888-bestbuy! And of course when I called that number, I got a man from India who was impossible to understand, but who finally let me know that he could not help. I kept him on the phone and had to argue with the store representative about this--he finally agreed to give us our money back on the product, but then he said he would not honor our Vi-spy agreement with them if I kept using Avast, and he insised that I purchase an anti-virus program. I insisted he give me my money back on Vi-spy also, or honor the agreeement, and finally he reimbursed me for the software and the Vi-spy. This whole rigamarole took forever and was an incredible hassle. I would not trust Best Buy to do anything to my computer or to recommend any software--they are clueless idiots who are in it for the bucks and do not care about their customers at all.
