I bought a new TV, blueray DVD and Home Cinema kit from Sony France - articles KDL40EX700AEP, UWA-BR100, BDPS370B.EC1 et HTCT350AEP because they offered free delivery and installation. This was on 21 June.
They did deliver and installed the kit on 6 July. Unfortunately for me, the installers were incompetent and in a hurry and they did not install things properly. Contacted Sony Style in France by phone and e-mail and despite their promises of a quick response they never came back to me.

Subsequently wrote to their headquarters in Belgium and, again, no reaction whatsover. From this experience I surmise that Sony's publicity and promises are worthless and customers can simply get lost if they are unhappy.
I do not intend to let things as they stand and will pester them and blog about this for as long as it takes.
