Ubuntu (do they even know the meaning of the word) Municipality Call Centre at 0878054890 have taken to harassing me by phoning me at 9o'clock at night and other odd hours, to tell me I have to pay an outstanding traffic fine. I do not even know where they are.

I have asked them to send me the fines - they have refused to do so and I have never received anything so I cannot comment on how valid itthey are. They simply tell me that a summons has been issued and when I ask what for they shout at me that I am refusing to pay!

What right have these people to do this and why will they not send the fines to me to see. Instead they ask for all my personal details such as ID number and address over the phone - I WILL NOT GIVE THOSE TO SOMEONE I DO NOT EVEN KNOW>

I see this is a common occurrence - perhaps we should start a FB and other groups for: STOP THE UBUNTU HARASSMENT.
