UnitedTel has been charging my Verizon account for unauthorized charges. I was finally able to get a number for them. I contacted them and now will be receiving a credit for the three months of billing. If you have been charged by them, contact them at 1-877-547-2815. Be sure to tell them that you no longer want to receive ANY emails, solicitations from them. AFTER you receive your credit, make sure to have this done with your phone company as well. Do NOT do this before you have received your credit, however, or they will be unable to issue that credit.

It took me over half an hour to resolve the unsolicited charges on my phone bill, $29.90, for "enhanced services", whatever that is. Until now, I had never heard of the company and certainly did not authorize any services from them. It appears that they are tapping into "clients", unbenownst to them, and are forwarding bills for service not authorized or received to Verizon, in this case, AND the government allows them to do this BECAUSE, according to Verizon, my server MUST allow third parties to bill through Verizon and other phone companies. In other words, the government is protecting the SCAM! Are you listening Mr. Obama? Here's something else you can clean up from the previous administration.
As we say, this takes the cake. Let's protect the miscreant.
