CUSTOMER SERVICE
So, I had scheduled a pickup yesterday. This morning, the packages were still there. No big deal. I call UPS to see what the deal is, and im told someone will get back to me. Well, the woman who called me back started by telling me that I didnt do the end of the day report by the time he had come at 3:45, and no one was at my desk. Well, considering I work until 3, your right, I wasnt here. However, I also have the end of day slip printed out, and had it on top of the packages for when he came. I have the time that was printed out also. When I told her this she proceeded to say "well, I have his time stamp right here that he went into the office and there were no packages"...man, he must be blind if thats the case because there are 6 giant tubes with labels on them right in front of my desk. So, he's lying and she has an attitude problem. She kept getting nastier and nastier until the end of the conversation where she said "well, he'll be there today, try to be at your desk"...wow. I dont even know how else to respond to that. How about your driver does his job correctly and you get some better customer service reps because that is completely unacceptable.

1st time Shame on Me 2nd time Shame On You
I've never had a problem with ups until a year ago when I was having a package deliveried and needless to say that it was supposed be delivered by UPS but there was no Knock on My Door but when i get to the door the is just a skicky. I know for a fact there was No knock on the door because me and my boyfriend were sitting in the living room waiting for the Ups man. I called customer services and was told, " well we are sorry up can come to the hub and pick up the package". That was a year ago the 2nd time I call up to make a complaint because I have a live check come to my door step being delivered to me and the check was just left on my door stop and I opened the door to find the UPS man walking down my stairs as opened my door to see if he was coming by chance there he was I asked him if it was their policy to just leave a package with out knocking on the door. " the Ups man stated I'm running behind." I called and filed a complaint and then I had a manager call me back about the driver, and his comment and then I was told we are sorry. I say to myself this 3rd time they should get it right because I have been using the service for my shipping packages to my customers and there really has not beena problem but just as I start to build my confidence back in UPS you then begin to Fail Me. Today I had a very important package being shipped to me and I stayed home and I waited and waited there was a message on the tracking information that say if residential maybe by the end of business day. 3pm if business I was fine with that until I check the tracking information about 20 mins later it still saying it being delivered i check back 30 mins later and then is says 1st attempt how funny i'm sitting here once again no knock on the door also to make it any better there was no sticker that said sorry we missed you but you attempted to deliver really. I don't see anything indicating that ups has been here. I also again setting at home when I could be somewhere making money but I'm waiting on ups. I called customer service and told them I wanted to make a complaint. Then while doing that I was told that I could come and pick the package up gas is $3.89 a gallon I know I paid the service fee for ups for gas and you want me to drive where because of Ups. I asked to then speak to a manager and i was told a manager will be calling me back in an hour. Well that is not good enough for me I called back and I spoke to someone in customer service for 30 mins and then they transferred me to someone else instead of a manager. So there I go explaining once again and then she gets me a manager. I explain to the manager why I'm highly angry and then she filled out another complaint xfered me over to the customer service office where I would pick up the package I spoke to the manager ther and explain the whole ordeal and explaining to me how they could not send him back out. So I clearly told them I will be contacting corporate to get this matter resolved because they claim they came and was here I'm the one that has to deal with all the extra fees for this mess they created.

Refuse to deliver package
UPS has a package of mine and they refuse to deliver it! I was out of the country for 3 months, I purchased mail forwarding and a mail box at one of those UPS mail box stores; they forwarded the package to me in country I was visiting. They then refused to deliver the package there and phoned me requesting my permission to have it returned to the USP store back in the States which I did. Instead of returning the package to the U.S. they kept it, considered it abandoned and they are holding it and refuse to send it to me or to the UPS store, crazy! I have no idea of where to turn for help, I sent a complaint to UPS, no answer what-so-ever.

UPS driver and inconsiderate customer service
UPS is a company that I will never use again, first for the way there drivers opperate and second how there customer service operate. I was driving my friend home in a residentail neighborhood and there was a UPS truck and a school bus in front of me. The school bus leaves and the UPS truck starts moving forward so I followed, I wasn't tailgating, he slams on the brakes whips it into reverse and goes 20 mph into someones driveway, I was right behind him a foot away and he was inches from hitting my car. I was beeping like crazy he never stopped or evern acted like he did anything wrong. Then he leaves going 35 in a 20 mph zone. SO then I called to report this, it was so scary he almost totaled my car, and the woman on the phone was so inconsiderate, she had no pity and didn't even ask for the license plate number. I am in complete shock and I almost had a heart attack.

harrassment
As the wife of a 23 years veteran employee of UPS I am sick to death of the harrassment projected toward my husband every single time he requests a day off. He has selected the option to use one of his vacation weeks as sick days, and yet every time he asks to use one of his sick days he is harrassed by management about it. It is ridiculous. They act like the company will cease to function if he doesn't show up. I am sure they teach harrassment and bullying in their management training program. Even when I was at the hospital to give birth to our second child they wouldn't let him leave until they had someone to finish his route which was 5 hours later! Today he had a root canal and they want him to come in following the appointment even though he is on pain medication. Sure, we all want people on pain meds driving on our streets all day!!! Enough is enough!

delivery
My dad posted some private belongings to me (in China) from Italy. Unfortunately the Italian delivery company works with UPS in China. The delivery arrived in China in 6 days and then got stuck for more than 1 month because UPS has no idea how to do custom clearance! they asked me for several useless documents/declaration but still no clue about my stuff. Customer service just awful.

Damaged package/poor customer service
Two weeks ago UPS delivered two packages to my home-left them on the front steps ( worth about $700 ) even though I left a note saying take it to neighbours if no answer. Opened the boxes the next day, ( I work nights ) and found both items had been dropped/crushed. Called UPS to file claim after their on line claim system came up unavailable. I was told a file had been opened and would be picked up the next business day. Stayed home from work, called them at 5 PM and was told the packages would be picked up that day by 7 PM. No one ever showed. Called them just after 7 PM, was told a repeat request would be sent and they would contact me.
8:15 AM someone from the local distribution centre called me and stated they received an e-mail but as yet had not received a "pick ticket" but they would request one from their end. I should mention here that I contacted the shipper in the US and they have repeatedly requested the items be picked up as well.
A week later and still nothing. I sent UPS an e-mail asked what I had to do to get my claim processed and the items picked up. Received an e-mail at 4 PM the next day saying somebody from UPS would call me by 4:21 PM.
It's now 7:22 PM, no call and of course their call centre is now closed again.
I understand that shit happens, when you move that many packages a day the chances of something getting damaged are significant..but holy crap people !!! When you screw up take some responsibility and FIX THE PROBLEM !! How many calls/e-mails do I need to make. Obviously they have been paid so they no longer give a dam. Their business plan must be to keep screwing you around and ignoring you in the hopes you will give up in frustration and go away. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. WILL NEVER USE UPS AGAIN.

Lying and providing misleading information, wasting my time, and very unprofessional conduct
On Friday 4-22-2011, I was expecting a delivery from UPS. I understand that there is no specific time to expect delivery from what I was told so I did not go to work and I waited nearly nearly the entire work day and I had been in continuous communication with ups throughout the day trying to get an estimated ETA from the driver who was out doing the deliveries for my area, until finally I was told in a phone conversation (with a woman who would only give her first name as Debbie, and she said she was the part time night supervisor), to expect the driver at some time after 7 pm. At that point I went out to perform some repair work as I knew that it it would take only a couple hours to perform my job. When I returned home at 6:30, there was a notice on my door indicating that the package had already been attempted to be delivered. I called again and spoke to Debbie, I asked her if she could contact the driver, and ask him If I could meet him wherever he is to retrieve my package, she told me that she knows him personally and that he would not do it, the customer pick up center closes at 8 and the driver was not expected to return until 9 and that there would be another delivery attempt made on Monday, she further went on to say that there would be 3 delivery attempts made, after which time the package would be returned to sender. I explained to her that unless I knew what time roughly to expect the delivery, that I would more than likely not be able to receive the package and I asked her if they could hold the package at the customer service center, she repeated that another delivery attempt would be made on Monday. She did not appear to be concerned with my inconvenience or time wasted. I asked for the direct number to the corperate office, her first and last name, and that of the driver, because I intended to file a complaint and she told me that she did not have to give me that information and hung up the phone. I believe that I was treated in a very unprofessional manner, there was no consideration for my time being wasted and I was lied to and misinformed. Someone must be held to account for and repremanded this fiasco, UPS should not be able to wastes peoples time and lie to them without consequence. specifically, the part time night supervisor and the driver that was responsible for delivering the package, please contact me with any information regarding any corrective actions that take place. Ridickalous
UPS is a bunch of numb-nuts. They tried to deliver a package to my home yesterday at 1:22pm then leave a super lame "UPS InfoNotice" saying "1st attempt" and that they would try again the next day b/w 2-5pm. Well, it's the next day, but they tried to fucking deliver at 10:00am while I am in the fucking shower. There is a huge difference b/w 10am and will redeliver b/w 2-5pm. What kind of stupid ass idiots work here and think I'm going to tolerate inaccuracies and just plain half-ass delivery people. Then I call the damn # on the InfoNotice and it says my package was delivered yesterday at some address I've never heard of and that "Tro" signed for it. That's nice, you must have complete fuck-ups working for you. Finally, I actually get to talk to someone lame wad on the phone who obviously hates his job and knows how fucking dumb UPS is who apologizes for the dumbfuck delivery guy's mistakes and asks if I can come pick up my package. So then a total rude numb-nut calls and says I can pick it up tonight after 7pm, but that they close at 8 or I can drive over there tomorrow morning and pick it up. How nice of you assholes to be so inconvenient. BTW, this is a medication that I've been waiting for.

idot ups driver in Hendersonville, TN
I live in Bermuda. I bought a guitar on ebay. I had the seller send the guitar to my girlfriend's house in Hendersonville, TN. I looked up the tracking number at the ups website and it said it was returned to the sender, because apparently the driver asked if I lived at the address he was at and the person said, "no". Apparently, the idiot driver was at the WRONG ADDRESS, as the person who he asked bore NO RESEMBLANCE to anyone living at my girlfriend's house. I explained this to ups and they said the case was closed, and I was out the $39 I was charged for shipping. I used Fedex and my girlfriend had my guitar waiting for me when I returned on vacation. I will NEVER use UPS again! Such poor customer service. I was hung up on by one loser ups employee, and I wasn't even rude, which I should have been. To the ups driver that delivers in Hendersonville, zip code 37075...you're an IDIOT! YOU SUCK!! I hope you crash your van, that you come flying out the side and get run over by a fedex truck!!
