Two weeks ago UPS delivered two packages to my home-left them on the front steps ( worth about $700 ) even though I left a note saying take it to neighbours if no answer. Opened the boxes the next day, ( I work nights ) and found both items had been dropped/crushed. Called UPS to file claim after their on line claim system came up unavailable. I was told a file had been opened and would be picked up the next business day. Stayed home from work, called them at 5 PM and was told the packages would be picked up that day by 7 PM.
