I joined a movie site for a 3 day trial for $1.00 on 17 March at 6:13 p.m.
On 20 March at 6:26 a.m. I canceled subscription and received a confirmation that my cancellation was a success.
On 4 March I received my bank statement and noticed a charge for $1.00, and for $39.95 on the 23rd of March. I did not authorize these charges. In fact after I canceled the subscription I was out of town for the weekend so I was away from the computer.
I called the userhelpcenter.com and was hung-up on numerous times as I attempted to get information about the charge.
I don't know who the responsible party is. megamoviecollection, vbmerchant, userhelpcenter, or bkgate. or are they all the same outfit.
This is totally outrageous. What are my options? How do I get this charge removed?
I am afraid to leave any info to contact me because I don't even know if this complaints board is even legit.
