I joined a movie site for a 3 day trial for $1.00 on 17 March at 6:13 p.m. On 20 March at 6:26 a.m. I canceled subscription and received a confirmation that my cancellation was a success. On 4 March I received my bank statement and noticed a charge for $1.00, and for $39.95 on the 23rd of March. I did not authorize these charges. In fact after I canceled the subscription I was out of town for the weekend so I was away from the computer.
