I was interested to see the complaint by Ray Hibbert regarding Louise Van Der Velde. I too have had dealings with the same person. I booked her villa in 2007 and paid her £800 deposit and £300 accidental breakage cover. I paid her the remaining balance of £2200 and waited for August 2008 to arrive. One week before we were due to fly to Spain I had an email from Louise Van Der Velde saying the villa was "due to unforseen circumstances not now available" As of today's date after many emails of trying to have our money returned I have only received £187. back from Louise Van Der Velde, who now refuses to even answer my emails. I have since discovered I am not alone and if there is anyone else who has been ripped off the same I believe jointly someone should listen.
