put my daughter's life in danger
My daughter wanted to try a new flavor of a soft drink. I bought it for her. She took a sip of it and did not like it. I went to return the item. They told me they could not return food since it was already opened. I told the idiot this was not food this was something to drink. She treated me like a two year old and said that this applies to drinks as well. I asked for where it said this and she pointed to the back of my receipt. I am a registered nurse. I make 100k a year.(yes all you jealous niggers I got promoted.)

They refused to let me return the drink. I wanted a manager. He too refused to let me return the drink. I told him I am a registered nurse and I make 100k a year and had $200 in my purse. I told him this and people heard me. Some of these people were black. One of them could have easily robbed me in the parking lot because now they know how much money I make. Because I had to tell him how much money I make and how much I had on me. They could have easily threatened to kill my daugher if I did not give them money. Basically I had to put my child in danger before the idiot returned my money.

The soft drink cost 79 cents. It is not the point. I can easily afford this. It was the way I was treated that pissed me off. For this I think I should get a $50 gift card. I spend thousands in yuor store each month and the least you can do is give me a gift card for the embarassment I faced and the danger you brougt upon to my child.

Decide not to cash check
I tried to cash my payroll check, like I do every 1th and 16th each month at the Wal-Mart store # 0532 in Gonzales, LA. This has been a recurring event for the pass year, never with a problem. Until today, that is. Now the same payroll check, with the same payee, same bank, same account number, and current date and amount information fits into a checking writing profile. However, I am not being told what that profile might be. I am being told that there are no supervisors on duty to handle this type of complaint.

Money Card
I was given a Wal-Mart money card for Christmas (2009). Nice thought, however, I cannot USE this card due to the fact that I did not receive the Wal-Mart RECEIPT with it to be able to activate it. Whatever!! What a scam!! This is ridiculous!! Who in the hell uses a receipt to activate a credit card!! Why not do it the conventional way with using the numbers on the card, or swipe to activate it like when you receive a REAL VISA CARD! I am going to talk to a manager about this, if I do not get this card ACTIVATED, I will take my business elsewhere!! What scam!!! I will NEVER recommend a card like this to anyone!! You would be better off taking a chance sending cash in an envelope VIA US Mail!!! Same difference!! They may or may not receive the cash if you know what I mean!!<br />

Stay away
I bought a table saw that had been put on clearance for $50. the next day when I opened the box, there was no motor in it. the motot had been replaced bya stack of newspapers wrapped in a plastic bag.I took it back and explained that I wanted to return it. Before they asked what was wrong, they wanted to look in it to make sure everything was there. I told them that some parts were missing and that was why I was returning it.They were cooperative but it makes you wonder why they didn't checkit when it had obviously benn returned. The lady said that someone hd returned a vacuum in a box the week before and it had been full of junk. Also I hate when they have the deals like buy two items for say $2.50. Watch when you check out because if you buy only one of the items most of the time it will be more than half the selling price. I believe that if Wal-mart continues to survive that it will become the Trade Federation as seen in the star Wars sagas. If someone doesn't want to do business with them then they will just take them over.

Rude Employees
Where do I even begin? Rude people...ignorant people...and bad service! I had a jug of milk that I was going to buy, and once I got to the counter, I noticed it was leaking very badly. We asked one of the workers to please get another so we could exchange it, and the idiot snapped me up. She snatched it, she started blowing, and mumbling something under her breath. First of all, it's her job to help the customers...THAT'S YOUR JOB!!! This is just one of many bad experiences at Wal-Mart. It's been so many, but this is one of the worst.

would not let me return gifts
My no good ex husband sent some Christmas gifts to my children. He told me that he wanted the children to receive the gifts on Christmas Day rather than when he gets to see them.(He is a no good deadbeat and does not deserve to see them). I did not want my childrenn receiving gifts from him so I went to one of your stores to send them back because that is where he got them from. I had no receipt because the idiot did not bother to send a gift receipt with the gifts. I was told that I could only get store credit. I argued but the idiot refused to budge, so did the idiot manager. I had to accept a gift card.

I had clearly instructed my son and daughter not to buy their father a Christmas present. I also instructed them not to wish him a Merry Christmas because he does not deserve it. Behind my back I found out that my disobedient eleven year old son had given him a Christmas card he made himself through the mail. This incident happened before Christmas. I bought lots of Christmas gifts for him. I made sure to get what he asked for this year. I was very angry at him because he told his sister mommy was mean to him and he likes daddy better and wants to live with daddy. Because of this incident I made sure to buy him items he asked for. On Christmas Day I made him open all his gifts. Then once he was done with his gifts I told him because he was disobedient that he could have gotton all that and now I am returning everything and he gets nothing for Christmas.

I got to return most of the gifts. However the idiot behind the counter would not let me return the Chocolate Christmas tree because she said that they cannot return food, nor would she let me return the Surprise Santa for boys gift bag because she said I could not return Seasonal items. I asked what I should do with it, my son misbehaved and did not deserve anything this Christmas. She said it is up to you. A customer behind me told me perhaps I should donate it to charity. I told her to mind her own business, first of all this was December 26th the day after Christmas so all the gifts were given to the children of black/jewish/hispanic/indian parents already. Second why should I have to pay for another child's Christmas gifts.

I think this is poor customer treatment and I should get a giftt card of $25 for both visits as I was treated poorly. I am a registered nurse. I spend $1000 in your stores a week. You just lost my business because you would not let me discipline my son.

Gift Receipts
I received a TomTom Navigation GPS device as a Christmas Gift from my daughter.

I brought the TomTom Navigation GPS device to the Manchester, Missouri store on 12 26 09 to return because I had received a duplicate gift for Christmas. My daughter, who gave the gift to me taped a Gift Recept as proof she purchased this gift from Wal-Mart for me to return the gift if I wanted to. Sammy (last name unknown) was my customer service clerk and he stated he would complete my return by giving me a Wal-Mart Gift Card. I told Sammy I did not want the Wal-Mart Gift Card with the amount of the Gift on the card, I told Sammy I wanted cash instead. Sammy stated it was against company policy to give me cash, he would have to give me a Wal-Mart Gift Card instead. I told Sammy no, I wanted to speak with his supervisor. Sammy brought his Supervisor to me and the Supervisor stated to me the company policy was to give a Wal-Mart Gift Card, if the original receipt was not included with the gift receipt. I argued with the Supervisor - I do not know his name. The Supervisor further stated he could not give me cash because it was NOT MY MONEY that purchased the gift in the first place. I rebutted stating that was the purpose of the gift receipt. Sammy, the customer service clerk stated they could not give cash because I did not pay for the gift with my own money, again I rebutted the reasoning of it being a gift to me and that was the purpose of the gift receipt. I then asked the store manager to call the police. He stated he would not. I requested he call the police because he had money that belonged to me that he was not giving me and if I took something from Wal-Mart that did not belong to me, they would call the police. The store manager refused to call the police. I attempted to call the police on my cell phone, but I could not get a connection. The store manager told me to bring the original receipt AND gift receipt and they could give cash in return. This incident took place approximately at 8;00 pm on 12 26 09. I left this store in Manchester, Missouri. I then called my daughter to ask if she had the original receipt and she stated she did not because she believed that was the purpose of having a gift receipt. My daughter told me to get the gift card, give it to her and she would pay me the amount that was on the gift card. I agreed to do this. I then began driving home and decided to go to Wal-Mart Supercenter Store #295 located @ 131 Eureka Town Center Drive, Eureka, Missouri 63025. I was waited on by a customer service clerk named Lisa, who took my TomTom and my gift receipt, processed the return and without asking, gave me the return in cash. NO QUESTIONS ASKED of how I wanted this return. I then informed Lisa I had just walked out of Wal-Mart Store #1177 @ 201 Highlands Boulevard Drive, Manchester, MO 63011 and was TOLD IT WAS STORE POLICY that this return had to be in a Wal-Mart Gift Card. Lisa stated when she is given a gift receipt, she treats it as if it is a receipt - which is the reason for having a gift receipt in the first place. I thanked Lisa. My complaint is against Wal-Mart Store #1177, 201 Highlands Boulevard Drive, Manchester, MO 63011 for not giving me cash on my return and insisting I take a gift card because I only had a gift receipt and not the original receipt. Also I am making a complaint against the store manager for not calling the police when I requested him to do so 2 different times when he refused to give me cash for my return. This gift was bought at Wal-Mart Supercenter Store #805, 653 Gravois Bluffs Blvd, Fenton, MO 63026 on 12/09/09. There is NOTHING stated on my gift receipt that it is store policy to give me a return in a gift card and not cash and the store manager did not show me any store policy stating this fact.

I have filed this complaint with the Missouri Attorney General's Office.

not enough cashiers
It's 3 days untill Christmas. Wal-Mart has about 30 registers, but only 5 of them are open. The lines are unbelievble! This is rediculous! There is no excuse for this at all. Not enough help only means that the managers are going to get a bigger bonus for having less payroll hours. This is very unfortunate for their customers yet they wont change it or even care. Why? Because Wal-mart has gotten big enough to put all their competetors out of business.

Terrible service
I purchased some snow tires on walmart.com for my car. I brought my car to the store on December 7 to have the tires put on. I told the clerk twice to save the old tires and put them in the trunk. I then heard her tell the technician the same thing. I did not check the trunk when I left the store because I assumed that they would do what I asked them to do. One week later, I opened my trunk to get the tires out and was shocked to find it empty.

I immediately called the store and the clerk told me that they had already thrown away my tires but that he found another set of used tires that were in good shape and they were the right size for my car. When I arrived at the store and examined the used tires, they were severely worn on the edges, indicating that the car they were on had been out of alignment. I then asked the clerk if they could arrange a discount on a new set of tires since they erroneuosly threw mine away.

The clerk then called the service manager who outright refused my request which was presented to him via a phone call. I asked the clerk to speak to the manager personally.

The manager (David Hartley) was very hostile to me before I even spoke a word to him. I explained the situation and he told me that his employees never make a mistake and then accused me of lying to him. He was extremely rude and disrespectful to me. I was finally able to negotiate a small discount on a new set of tires but the entire ordeal was so offensive to me that I will NEVER shop in that store again for anything!

I have been a very loyal customer to that store since it has opened spending at least $7500/year there. That manager's rudeness and disrespect just cost them a customer.
