Avoid this store like the plague
Recently I went to the Walmart at Kings Hwy & I75 in Pt. Charlotte, Fl. 5min before I went, I called your Automotive Dept. & asked "Tom" if I could get an oil change he said theres 2 cars ahead get here quick, wait time @1 1/2 hrs. Ok, cool I said be right there. (I live around the corner.) I didn't know who "Tom" was so I went to the automotive register behind 4poeple getting they're weekly tampons & eggs. (Only automotive items should be allowed through this register, otherwise put more registers!) Anyway 5-10min later someone had already gotten to "TOM!" (This gentelemen clearly can't be considered productive.)And I was out, so theres my complaint"s".

Keep the money you greedy corporate pirates
Made a stop this morning at walmart store #2178. Purchased a tracfone card. When tried to put it in wouldn't go. called tracfone and argued with them for am hour after giving them further information was informed that that card had been used by someone else on 12-25-09 i purchased it on 2-06-10 at 8:48 am drove another half hour back to walmart and told them the problem after one young lady tried to take care of the problem had to get someone else to try they called tracfone and after ten minutes of so got hung up on them the asst. manager tried after taking my phone and my receipt had me standing there for over another hour all i wanted was a replacement card. After an hour and a half at the store with still no solution i told them i wanted my phone and my recipt back at which point they still didn't want to give it to me.
After raising my voice and causing a little bit of a scene They gave me my stuff back and only then offered to reimburse me. By then i was so upset just left the store without one so upset couldn't even remember where my vehicle was. they got my $105.00 but that is the last time they will get anything if i went in and gave them a check that was no good i would be arrested fof negotiating a worthless instrument. But i guess they don't have to make good on stuff they sell. never offered a replacement card or a refund until I had wasted three hours of my day and getting nothing but my blood pressure raised. Keep the money you greedy corporate pirates.

Wal-mart - Is it Wal-marts policey to inconvenience a customer
Wal-mart needs to reconsider their hiring process. My friends' children work as managers at Department stores (Kmart)and recognize that customer service is what affects the bottom line. These ladies are young but have degrees and brains! I was at the Irvine Wal-mart t and had the displeasure of dealing with a manager with the IQ of my shoe size named Harry Garrison. I had come - with a receipt - to return a DVD that did not work. It had already been exchanged once and I refused to exchange it the second time as it was clearly a bad batch. After a 15 minute battle of raised voices in front of other customers and her total refusal to return my money she agreed to change it for the 3rd time. I accepted - went to another Target and returned it. Now you tell me!! Is itWal-mart's policy to inconvenience a customer like this? What sense did that make. The DVD was open when I returned it so she did not want to take it back. She quoted the "law" to me that it was Wal-mart's s policy and no Government policy could override it. REALLY??? So she exchanged it for an unopened one that I could return?? Go figure!! THAT my friends was VERY intelligent. Would you not say?

Beware
Beware the Wal-Mart Visa gift card. My wife was given such a card with $25 prepaid for mother's day. To spend the $25 she is required to activate the card. To activate the card she is required to give away her personal information, such as her Social Security number. Why? She does not wish to disclose her information for just any request. The money is already on the card but she cannot access it. Such a situation should be regarded as fraud or theft. Beware! We tried to resolve the issue over the phone but after more than a half dozen calls to different numbers we received no satisfaction. A personal visit to Wal-Mart did not resolve the issue either.

Very unknowledgable wardrobe department
I love Walmart, please understand that I buy there often, but refuse to by clothing. Why, you ask...I am 62, love to dress up, skirts, sweaters, dresses, slacks and jackets. Wait...I'm 62 going on 35, I do not look 62 nor do I act 62, and I'm not ignorant of dress codes, but I like to pick flowers, not wear them. In Lebanon, Oregon, our Walmart has nothing cute, with a flare, nothing bright without the glare, everything is out dated, and over rated. Give me some style and I'll spend my big bucks at your store. What human has been given the right to act as consultants for myself and other gals here in Lebanon. There is either a very unknowledgable wardrobe department, or some female that has a mother complex and hates women over 40. Stupid clothes...

We were extremely frustrated and disappointed with Walmart
We ordered a Nintendo Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board, Wii Fit Game, and Wii Fit Accessory Bundle from Walmart.com. Having previously used Site to Store we chose this for our shipping option. We received an email letting us know that the items were ready for pick up. We picked up a box which was supposed to contain all of the above listed items. At the Site to Store counter, the clerk asked if my fiance "wanted" to open the box. Since we had no problems in the past, he assumed that everything was there. When we got home and opened the box, the Wii Fit balance board, a $100.00 item, was not inside the box, nor was the packing slip. Upon inspection of the box, it appeared that the box had been torn or broken open and retaped. We immediately called the Site to Store clerk to explain what happened. During the conversation, she stated a few times that she "offered" to let my fiance open the box and he chose not to, so we needed to take up the issue with the Walmart Corporate Ship to Store office.
I immediately sent an email to corporate explaining what happened. The next day, my fiance received a call from a very nasty customer service representative who wouldn't listen to him and just kept repeating that she checked with the clerk, "Roxie" who said that she "offered" to let him open the box and he chose not to. He asked if opening the box was the store's policy and she would not answer and just responded by once again saying that "Roxie offered" to let him open the box. He finally got frustrated and told her he would dispute the charges through his credit card company. Walmart would do nothing to make it right.
Needless to say, we were EXTREMELY frustrated and disappointed with Walmart. Before this, we believed that Walmart was a corporation that did the right thing for its customers. Apparently not. At this point, we are $100.00 poorer and still have no Wii Fit Balance Board to go with our accessories. Until now, we shopped at Walmart every week and have spent a lot of money in their stores and on Walmart.com. After this horrible experience, we plan to shop elsewhere and order our items from other companies.

Their products cost me embarrassment and expense
I am writing this letter in regards to the embarrassment and expense your product have cost me. I have been purchasing Equate feminine wipes for some time now. The label reads "flushable" the back reads "safe for sewers and septic systems". this is simply not true... This past week we had to have our plumber come out to clean clogged household drains thanks to your product. It was embarrassing for me; it costs us $213.00 for the labor
Not only am I out personal and financial expense; I feel this is something that is not ecologically sound. I would like to hear from Walmart Very soon and feel I should be compensated. If I do not hear within the next week, I will make some inquiries of some environmental protection group since this product is certainly not biodegradable I look forward to a response.

No break given on Mother's Day
We had another unfortunate incident at this same store. My nine year old son spent all his money on candy and Garbage Pail Kid cards. He went and my 13 year old went shopping on Sunday May 9th to buy a mother's day gift. My son did not want to be the only one without a gift so he stole a pair of a box of my favorite candy. I am am very angry about this. They called me at home instead of letting him off. I mean it is mother's day, there is no need to call me at home, they could have just given him a warning. My husband was very angry about this. He refused to go to the store because he was afraid he would do something he regretted and get arrested. So on mother's day I had to go to the store and pick up my sons. My 13 year old had nothing to do with this, though they did not arrest him they detained him when he did nothing wrong saying they had to wait for me to come. I am angry at the employees, had they told my 13 year old son to stick with my nine year old son he would not have been tempted to steal in the first place. Instead my 13 year old son and my 9 year old son were seperated. I am sure a few employees saw my nine year oldson alone and no one said nothing to him, or my 13 year old about sticking together. My son could have been kidnapped and no one warned my 13 year old about the dangers. Don't get me wrong. My son was punished for what he did. I don't know the whole store but apparently he is saying his older brother told him to steal refusing to lend his money, and my 13 year old is saying that never happened. Don't know who is telling the truth. I asked several employees if they knew the truth, and none of them were paying attention to these children so I will never know the truth till they are adults and say "mom remember the time when...
