we the people, pay walmarts payroll
"WE THE PEOPLE" SUBSIDIZE WALMART'S PAYROLL:
Most Walmart new employees do not earn enough at walmart, and that forces the new employees to have to apply for food stamps and other government help.
Furthermore, for every new employee who has been receiving government help, walmart gets a hefty tax credit (they do not have to pay as much when the company pays their taxes).
If you add it all up, we would find out that walmart does NOT have to pay tens of millions of dollars to the IRS.
Therfore, we the people pay for a big chunk of walmart wages.
"save money, live better"... Walmart is the one that is saving in not paying taxes and they (walmart) lives better, NOT the customer...

Not a complaint
I have been to the Walmart in Orange several times, and have always received excellent service. The cashiers have always been friendly, and fast. When I have asked for information about where a product I wanted was located I was always assisted. I have used the check cashing services, and always was treated with respect and never had to wait to long. I have purchased cat food, clothing, books, food, cleaning products, and other items. Usually, the prices at Walmart are lower than other retail stores. An example is, I bought my son a pair of skinny jeans that cost seventeen dollars, a pair at Target cost thirty five. I also notice that this Walmart employs wonderfully friendly elderly, that always greet you, and say goodbye. I am used to being very independent at any stores, one day I was struggling to get a shopping cart and a friendly associate helped me pull a stubborn cart out of another cart. I am very happy with this Walmart, and am looking forward to trips to this Walmart in the future.

Refunds
I ordered this ring as a surprise for our 10 year anniversary on 9-3-10 for my husband. I realised on 9-5 that this ring was going to be to small. I called Wal-Mart.com and was told my order9still in processing) was cancelled and that my CC would be charged back. On 9-10 I looked into my account for the credit and nothing. So I looked into my Wal-Mart account to see if it was cancelled and the ststus was SHIPPED. I then called Wal-Mart back and was told no problem, just return it to any Wal-Mart store and they would refund me. I went to Newington NH this morning with all receipts and was told nothing would scan and the only thing I could do was return back in the afternoon with MY BANK STATEMENT(per Heidi P CSM) to prove that I paid for this ring. So I then went home printed off my bank statement FURIOUS and drove to the next local store Concord NH and was told that they could refund my money after I had to log into my Wal-Mart account at the store so they could prove I paid (they had never heard of having to see a bank statement), all said in done, I was given a STORE CREDIT not even the charge back to my account minus the shipping fees!!! NEVER AGAIN will I buy from Wal-Mart.com and am having serious doubts about shopping at Wal-Mart again!

unsafe work conditions
As overnight stockers one of the most basic essential work tools we need is the pallet jack. While the store managers claim they receive maintanence, the jacks have not been serviced (or serviced correctly) in over a year. In the three years I have worked at this store, I have been injured twice using this equipment. The first being a sprained left shoulder, and the second time my lower back. Anytime I refuse to use the unsafe equipment I get called into the office and "coached" for my "lack of performance."
It recently happened again today Sept 6th 2010. My back has still not fully recovered (tho the workers comp docs released me to full duty) and I have WITHOUT COMPLAINT sucked it up and used the unsafe pallet jacks until recently. My back injury has flaired up again and because of that I have not used the pallet jacks for the past two days.
I am, for whatever reason, one of 3 people who always have to perform the duty of "puller" eventho there are several other people capable and who are not overworked from the use of the shotty equipment.
My manager called me into the office to give me a written "coaching" for my performance today... the only issue being the past two days!
I am fed up with dealing with this unfair treatment and refuse to get hurt using their equipment. Any records "proving" maintenence has occurred is PHONY because I use this equipment everyday and the pallet jacks get worse and worse. I have pictures and want to report them for retaliation and I want to sue. Anyone reading this please let me know if this would be an adequate reason to sue.

kicked out for giving away stuggvids.com t shirts
While visiting friends in california this summer, I was at your local walmart. My friend does screenprinting, so we brought a few examples with us that read "WIN BIG PIZZZZA, Visit: www.stuggvids.com". Within the first half hour of handing out shirts, security was very rude, asking us "just what we thought we were doing", asking us to leave, and forcing us to turn off the tape recorder we had brought. SInce it's a free country, I fell okay with being nasty right back to the gaurd, at which point he told me that for the next three months me and my friend were BANNED. Good thing I don't even live in Orange Cove moron!! IN closing, spend your money someplace else, the people that run this store are uptight pigs.

auto batteries
here's one you might enjoy
bought a everstart battery from walmart 2 years and 4 months ago ( 2 year free replacement and a 72 month pro-rate)
brought it back today and they said it had a bad cell . had almost 4 years on the pro rate and they prorated it at an 8 dollars discount on a new battery. but if I just buy a new battery and turn this one in as a core they'll give me 9 dollars back. so why even have a pro rate . and now I hear they doped the pro rating on all new purchases. so my advice is to not buy the neverstart and go to auto zone the durolast, last time I checked was rated #1 and still has a 3 year- 8 year warranty.
buy the way wouldn't a bad cell fall under manufacturers defect

concern employee
Concern as a walmart employee, been with walmart two years now the first year I work my butt off knowing I had surgery due to a large fibroid tumor that was the size of a five month old fetus, never did I get a card of a get well rosemary from walmart that i work at in richland, ms... after the surgery i went back to work, noticing my body had alot of changes that was going on, I knew then my body was'n t the same after the surgery... so the medical bills started flooing in, OMG... they was a etimated total of 43.000 so I ask walmart do they have a program about associate in critical need, they responded sure we do, so i ASK how do u go by getting this program. they told me u have to have unpaid medical bill, behind on rent due to any unpaid medical bills, OK... after the co-manger sent it to cooprate office, they responded back we don't help famalies with medical bills, but they help other countries, speaking as an american... so as I began to sit down an sort things out at home finguring how to stretch my money what hospital I'm going to pay without filing bankruptcy, I also went a month behind on rent... so I went back to the co- manager to see if walmart can help me with rent, it has been almost two months before they even responded to me, so how concern really are they for there employees. do anyone really care... NO, , , they want u to get your work done on time show up for work, that's there only concern... i have been a very sick employee latley, due to the cancer in my cervical area they found once they said they removed, but now I don't know anymore if someone is reading this letter, please respond because i really need to know someone out there care,

idiotism at its greatest
So I took my car to Walmart to get my oil changed, I bought the oil filter and the oil and I usually do the oil change but felt lazy and didnt want to get dirty that day. When I got there I gave them my keys and waited, 2 hrs passes and nothing happend so i went in there and asked wtf? their manager told me he didnt know how to pull my car inside so they can chage the oil because he couldnt find my reverse gear. Im amazed how walmart put a complete dumb fuck in charge of the automotive department when he does not even know how to put my car into reverse. I drive a 2007 mitsubishi 6 speed and my reverse is on the left next to 1st gear as ingraved on the shift knob. I cant believe I was gonna let that dumb fuck change my oil, I wouldnt trust that guy with my bicycle.
