I have noticed they do not have to honor the posted price
What is the policy if a price is incorrect. Does Walmart hope the shopper does not see it and they make more money. I have noticed they do not have to honor the posted price. This week i purchased two different items that were incorrectly priced and I returned another item from a previous purchase that was priced wrong, , , , , yes all three were higher than they were suppose to be...one by $2, .98, and $1 per pound...why are all of the over priced and non underpriced...

Customer is treated like dirt
Today is 4/23/10. I went shopping at the walmart on rt.117 in Leominster, MA. The time is 7:50 am. I had $150.00 (at least) in the shopping cart. I walked the lenght of the check out area. They had 1 (one) register open. It was 20 items or less. I waited in line for the only open register. Want to figure out what happened? You got it! 20 items or less. Keep in mind this is the only register open. At least 1 supervisor (young blonde female)seen me & I think 1 manager (at least he seemed to bne giving orders). So on my way out (to shop at market basket) I told the greeter (older female)that the cart with all the food in it was mine & why I was leaving. She attempted to get younger blonde female to assist but younger blonde female was way to busy socializing to assist customer. Now I will shop at market basket, hanafords, any where but walmart ... where the customer is treated like dirt. Hey that must be the company motto " the customer is always wrong". This is not the 1st problem I have had with walmart, but its the last!!!

Produce Scamming
Dying to make a great bowl of Guacamole, I went to WalMart's Neighborhood Market to purchase some avacados. The selection was typically poor, mostly very green unrippened avacados were available. An employee was standing there stocking them, so my expectations were pretty low knowing that I was having to pick from a fresh delivery. I picked through and found it extremely odd that the ones that looked ripe were VERY cold and had water droplets on them. I grabbed a bunch of brown(ripe) ones. I kept thinking how odd it was that even though they appear ripe, they were rock solid!
After I got home, I cut one open. It was DAYS from being ripe... I finally realized that the reason they were so cold and wet was because, they had been frozen!!! It caused a premature browning of the skins to give the appearance of being ripe. Craving guacamole today, I had to run out to a different grocer and purchase non-frozen ripe avacados.
A minor issue, I understand, I'm partly to blame since I should have been much more attentive while shopping, but I am FED UP with this chain and the minor nuances they use to deceive consumers. My days of shopping here are numbered... unfortunately they have become a necessary evil in our society, having driven honest and reliable competition out of the communities, so I can't claim an all out boycott, but I pledge that WalMart will be the last resort when I can't find what I need elsewhere. Even spending a few pennies more somewhere else would be worth avoiding the parking lot, the crammed aisles, the deceptive tactics, rude customer (non)service, and crappy Chinese products!!!

injury/fall
On Feb. 10 of 2010, coming out of Walmart, with my husband, a snow covered area before entering the parking area, had been freshly scraped, but not salted, or treated by any substance. I went DOWN. Husband unaware that I was laying on the ground unconstious. They apparently saw on a moniter I had gone down, and by that time my husband had me sitting in the car. The employees insisted on getting me back inside, and put me through a series of questions to evaluate my condition, while from where I was sitting, We could see several others fall down. They wanted to call the ambulance, I insisted, I would go with my husband on my own to the ER. A CAT scan was done, arm and shoulder neck area, and the large abrased lump on my head examined. I was assured by the Arkansas office when they contacted me, that they would pay, anything I needed. The insurance Co. wants reimbursed, and walmarts incident rep. no longer answers or returns call, and it`s June. They tell the insurance Co. that I haven`t contacted them. They gave the plow Co. name and number. They don`t answer or return calls. So the attorney basically says he`s 165$ an hour. So I guess Walmart Gets out of any responsibility for there property? Upstanding Co. I will no longer shop there and will make sure everyone I know, hears my story, not that they will care. I`ll give my 200 a week to someone else, thats all I can do. Just glad I didn`t use the ambulance, that was a very exspensive shopping experiance at the Warren walmart.

Child was screaming for more then 10 minutes
I have a complaint about what i saw at the Walmart store today. as i was shopping, i kept hearing this baby crying, as i neared the Jewlery counter, i saw a women holding her child that was about 1 1/2 years old behind the counter. as it turned out, they were trying to have the babies ears pierced! The child was in so much distress and screming her little head off.I saw the mother holding the baby, and two other adult females standing their with the mother, as well as the Walmart Employee trying to hold the child still so that they can Pierce the ears!!! Baby screaming, people walking by shaking their heads in anger. NO one stopped it.
i walked around for about 10 min.and returned to the area, and baby is still screming.about that time the Mother says "JUST DO IT" Hurry do the other ear!!and the employee does as she says! That poor little child just screaming.
I said, from the end of the counter"to the employee, you should be ashamed of your self, you should not have done that to that baby.Well, the women holding the child went off on me, calling me all kinds of names, and then the other two wwomen with her started saying "we'll kick your ---, mind your own f--king busniess. to be truthful, i was frighten for my own safty at that point.
i moved on to another part of the store to get way, waitted for them to leave the store. at the check out i ask for the manager to talk to me.He listen to my complait and said that he was not sure of the store ploicy, but he would look into it, i ask him to walk me to my car, and he did.
I DO NOT think the Walmart should allow thier employees to pierce the ears of children, that are screaming in fear as someone holds them down! this is not what i expect of WalMart. They should not be a part of this.I realize that parents get to make this dission about thier own children, but this is child abuse and Walmart should not allow it to happen in thier stores.I know that it hurts to get pierced, but this child was in distress long before the employee touched her with the gun, theirfor i feel like the walmart policy should be that they will not pierce a child if they are crying in fear and have to be restrined. please tell me that you have a policy in place and that it was not followed in this case!

Credit reversal problems with close WMT discover card
Arrived at express lube tire dept. at 7:00 a.m. Sunday, easter, to facilitate timely install of tires ordered SITE to Store. BIG MISTAKE. Although the dept. mgr. Cheryl, advised the tires were already IN the dept. they could not be installed until cleared via site to store. I reluctantly went to Site to Store, only to find NO ONE there. Using console summons button to no avail. Finally after 15 min. a 'front' associate shows up only to state "its gonna be a few minutes"..
By then i had lost first customer status in tire/lube, Left without receiving tires, went home and canceled order. Reviewing WMT discover card charges, learned the $182 had ALREADY been levied and charged to my card..wrong. I, then, instituted an immediate Dispute form and mailed to walmart Discover. Am awaiting credit and will post further addendum to the outcome. Meanwhile, they just lost a long time formerly loyal customer over a Change of Policy between the printout instructions which state:Take this printout along with photo ID, to the express lube and tire and we will complete your order".. Dept managers states "thats not how we do it"... end result..lost sale. lost customer. If necessary should there be credit reversal problems with close WMT discover card, buying gasoline elsewhere as well.

Customer Service
Watch the charges to your credit & debit cards. The cahrged mine 3+ times and kept telling me to swipe again because it didn't go through.
It went through every time! My bank could reverse the credit purchases but when they had me do it as debit the money came right out of my account and couldn't be put back.

Benches
My father has a hard time breathing and needs to sit down often when he is shopping. Walmart took out all the benches and there isnt anywhere he can sit and rest a couple mintues so he can continue to get everything that he needs. If he asks for help the employees walk off and ignore him or seem to be put out to have to answer questions about where something is. Since he cant sit and rest a couple of minutes every step has to count. Upon observing, he isnt the only person that needs a couple minutes of rest before having to continue to shop. It is important to have those benches for people in walmart the store is very large and it is hard for the elderly to get around.
Thank you

Refused to give me my prescription
On Thursday May 13, 2010 at 9:30 AM I left a prescription at the pharmacy at the Walmart store in Lancaster, Texas. I returned at 9:20 PM the same day. I was told my order was being filled at that time. When I attempted to question the eleven hours since I had left it all I got was a stupid stare. I waited paitently until 9:00 when I then asked for the Person in charge who quickly picked up an oprder that had been laying on the counter the entire time. and handed it to me. Then The "clerk" wanted me to pay the entire bill without checking if I had insurance.
I spend a lot of money in Walmart, but in the future someone else will benefit from my free spending.
