After calling a phone number in the ad found in the Daily News and leaving my contact info. I was contacted a few days later by a man who gave his name as Mark Johnson who told me I would soon be working for a maintanance company named Star Maintanance at a supermarket warehouse but I needed what he called a CRN# or safety certification #. He proceeded top give me the number to (212-913-0287) the so called safety center to get my CRN#. Upon contacting someone named Jessica I was told it cost $98.00 for the safety certification. When I called back to give them my account info I was given a CRN#, 15729701 and a web site, www.jobsafetyusa.com, only to find out that it is a scam and I'd just been ripped off for my money. I am currently unemployed and 100.00 dollars is very hard to come by! I hope that by making ythis complaint that there is some way for me to recover my money and that no one else gets caught in this scam. Thanks.
