false loan acceptance
i have recently been scammed by yes loans, told in writing i was accepted, recently seperated with two kids desperate for money, paid £69 admin fee and heard nothing

there should be a law stopping them doing this with innocent desperate people, who need every penny they have

all admin fee charges should be refunded and the company sued by watchdog

Do not use them
I applied for a yes loan and was approved in principle. when i realisied their typical APR is 48%, i though i would leave it. But i was bombarded daily with calls from their premium rate number, which upon answer starts ringing so you pay for their call. I called to be taken off their list which they said they had done. They didnt and tried calling many times where they answer straight away but then "cheerily" put you through to a "customer services" line which is constantly on hold all the time you are still ona premium rate so you pay them a fortune. When i tried to be put through to a supervisor to compain, "natalie" who wouldnt give me her surname or any manangements name so i could address a letter of complaint actually told me they werent regulated by the FSA so i would not advise anyone going to Yes loans for anything because they seem to be just Scammers.

refund
I was offered a loan from yesloans.tv and i had to pay £69.50 with my debit card in March 2009 as i wasn't happy with their service i asked for a refund in May and they told me i would have to wait until June before i can get a refund.I have been phoning sent emails and still haven't got a refund and now this is August 2009. It costs `10p a min on the phone and you are always in a queue i hang up after 10mins. It's appalling company like this get away with it.

No refund- total liars
I am very concerned reading all these complaints, how on earth are Yes Loans getting away with scamming all of us, someone needs to strike the company off!!!

It's the same message everytime they tell you your loan has been accepted on the phone, pressure you into paying the £69 admin fee and tell you once the paperwork is signed it will be around a week to receive your loan. Total liars they never intend to get a loan for you, they are gaining interest on all our £69 fees!!! What I don't understand is how they are getting away with it, I have read bloggs on here dated 2006 saying the same thing, they must have thousands of complaints going on, why aren't the FSA involved, we want our money back. Afterall we all must be in the same boat if we are applying for a loan we need the money right!! They are a disgrace and I tell you something, I will get my fee back that's a promise. scam scam scam

con
I recently tried to get a loan from Sainsbury's for a car, which as I expected was declined. However my details must have been passed to other companies as ten minutes later I received a phone call from Yes Loans.
The girl I spoke to explained that they help anyone in any situation with bad credit. (this is what the website also told me when i researched them) The girl told me it was good news and I had been accepted for a 1000 loan. All I had to do was pay a 69pound admin fee and the money would be transferred to my account within 5 working days, so I paid it 2 days later.
Two weeks later there was still no sign of the money so I rang them. I was told that their first lender had declined me but that they would check with the second lender, I said I didnt want this as I have heard that credit checks in themselves can affect credit. The guy I spoke to said that they had already accepted me so I assumed I may aswell agree to taking it. He assured me I would recieve the paperwork with 5 working days.
A further two weeks later I was still waiting and yet again, contacted them demanding a full refund. The said this couldnt happen I would have to make this request in writing which I refused. I was on the phone complaining for about 45mins when the guy I that was dealing with went through to admin who apparantley said I would receive a cheque with the refund within two weeks.. (it gets worse)
A FURHTER THREE WEEKS later and suprise... still no cheque, and again I contacted them..
This time I spoke to Adam who seemed quite helpful considering my mood and attitude. However when I explained my last conversation with Yes Loans, he went on to tell me that I was lying and that the last guy Chris that I had spoken to did not tell me that I would receive a cheque! I asked to speak to Chris however he was conveniently on holidays at this time. I then demanded to speak to a manager and was told that managers at Yes Loans do not take calls, but that he would pass me through to Christine Turner, supervisor in Admin. Christine said that they could bend the rules and if I sent a fax to confirm my wishes to cancel that she would be willing to accept that. I refused explaining that I don't have access to fax facilities and that I would not be writin in as I had waiting long enough. She then said I could send an email which I did. She said I would be sent a cheque.
Yet here I am a further two weeks later still waiting. The company is an absolute disgrace and I would recommended anyone NEVER EVER to use them!!!
