Unauthorized charges to my credit card from both companies began in AUguest 2008 and continued thru February 2009. YourSavingsClub charged $1.00 per month. Privacy Matters charge $19.95 alternating with $1.00 a month. Both provide a phone number and account number on the credit card billing and have a way to stop your membership. They require a written request for refund.

According to the telephone representative, the "membership" was created by an online transaction. I did not sign up for either of these memberships and am appalled that they can automatically charge my credit card (and chagrined that I didn't notice it sooner). I do not yet know if my request to terminate the membership will be successful or whether I will get the refund I have requested. I will notify my bank and request a new credit card.
