The loans called reverse mortgages seem too good to be true. Do the math urself on AARP and u will learn that u only qualify for 1/3 of the value of ur house, even if the mortgage broker told u 1/2 of an overblown quick estimate. U need counseling. Beware that once u allow BORDERS BOOKS to send u emails (about price reductions, specials etc.) and it soon becomes a twice a day affair so u have literally enough of it and decide to unsubscribe... u'll be unhappily surprised that their UNSUBSCRIBE BUTTON doesn't function. When u do a Reverse Mortgage, beware with whom u do business. Putting ur trust blindly in the appraiser may cost u big bucks. This appraiser uses the square footage as base for comparison instead of the utility of that square footage. So if for instance u are looking at two exact the same size houses but one has a bathroom more than the other, the basis for the appraisal of both will be the same. That is incorrect. I'll never go to the Deli dept in Hollywood Mall anymore. My turn is in between two Hispanix. The one before me is served and the lady who served him now has to turn to me to ask what i want but instead she lowers her eyes and moves far away and starts a long chat accompanied by giggles and laughter with another employee; like her a Hispanic. I can't complain about the product or service or speed of it. That all was simply great. My concern is with the amount i am being charged for shipping. Last weekend, in error, i ordered #4s of a particular item. When i received it thru USPS i realized it was too small and i needed 5s. I returned the box with 4s and paid only $17 and cents for shipping at my nearest post office. Today, while ordering the 5s i'm finding out that the company charge for shipping is $29 or roughly $12 x 2 = $24 MORE for their shipments of first the 4... read full review »
