About 5 weeks after my initial purchase, I started hearing loud chirping sounds coming from the engine at idle or at low speeds. I brought the car back to Hurd for an evaluation, thinking it a minor problem that could either be fixed on the spot or for a minimal charge. I was advised that I needed a repair totaling $1025. I realize that I had a 30-day warranty that had just expired but I feel that a major repair like this one should have been caught and fixed prior to them reselling this car to a new customer.
