HughesNet pretends to be a great internet service but they should be avoided at all costs if you have a choice. Unfortunately I live in an area where HughesNet my only option. I have numerous complaints about them: (1) HughesNet simply shuts down at times for no particular reason, sometimes for hours. No reason is given other than "we're working on the problem."
