I applied for a loan modification end of 2008 due to a death in the family that caused my mortgage to fall behind for the first time in 6 years. My home was put on the foreclosure list despite the application for modication. Luckily I was able to come up with the funds needed to pay off the balance needed to reinstate the loan. The complaint I have or what pissed me off the most is that 1 year later, I get a letter from the bank, letting me know my application is denied!!! Geeee!!!
