I just found out my family-Me, my husband and 8 year old son were denied food stamps. My husband was a Cape worker here in Florida who got laid off due to the ending of the shuttle program. I am currently employed and have started using my companies health care coverage since my husband lost his, which was WAY better than what we are offered at my company.
