I called Stanley Steemer to have my father's carpets cleaned. They quoted me a price of $173.84. I wrote out a check for the exact amount and gave it to my Dad to give them. They talked him into deoderizer and charged him over $316.94 dollars. He wrote out a new check. Interesting how they did not even give him an invoice so I could know how much the check was written for. They took advantage of an elderly man.
