I have had to change my laptop due to a fault with the old one; on downloading iTunes for the new one I found that when I plugged my iPod in, I only had two options: Either erase all the music currently on it and sync with the new library (bearing in mind there was no music on the new library) or leave it how it was. I wnted to update my iPod, as it had been a while since I had used the old, faulty laptop and so my CD collection had increased substantially.
