I have owned this business for 37 years. My brother-in-law was my business manager for 22 years until Dec. 10, 2008. He died on Jan. 1, 2009 after a 17-year battle with prostate cancer. Eleven months before his death, he signed a 4-year lease with Pitney Bowes for a DM100 Postage Meter. The lease payments total $1, 405.52 a year ($117.13/month) which represents 62% of our annual postage expense!
