Went to H and R Block today to have the my taxes filed. I was told over the phone that it would be 100.00 to 150.00. After 1 1/2 hours with an employee that did not seem to be any more educated then I was, he said it would be 460.00. I about lost my mind. I told him I was quoted 100.00 to 150.00 and refused to pay these outrageous fees. Got my questions answered. Now I will pay 39.00 to do them online and keep my money in my pocket. I feel they are operating a bait and switch on consumers. They try to make it easy by just "taking out the fees from your tax return." read full review »
