I was contacted and asked if I wanted to continue my membership, I said no and gave adequate reason and the lady told me nicely that she would handle that for me so I naturally assumed that is the last I would hear of that. A few months later I realise that money is still being taken out of my account. I try and ring up the gym (to no avail [as usual]) then finally contact them and tell them the problem, only then do they tell me that I need to contact them in writing to cancel my membership.
