I recently brought my Shih Tzu in to Petco to get groomed. I requested that they keep the fur semi-long, and said that I didn't want it to be shorter than a few inches. I came back a few hours later to find my dog COMPLETELY shaved. There were never any mats or knots that would force them to shave my dog, and when I complained that I specifically requested that they leave at LEAST a few inches, they checked with the groomer who claimed that I wanted the dog shaved.
