If you are having grievances with Comcast Cable, let me refer you to the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992. It is federal law and is binding. (Public Law 102-385 - Oct. 5, 1992). Under the CTCPCA, it is illegal for cable companies to force services on you that you explicitly state you do not want, and it is also illegal for cable companies to "hide" services (such as DVR service when you only order HD services) and then all of a sudden, charge you for that service that was once free.
