I have AT&T mobile service. I have had them for over three years. I am sometimes late on my payment. I just had my service disconnected for non-payment. My phone would not let me call them to pay but I received an automated message that gave me a phone number to call or use the express pay option. Of course I wanted to use the express pay option as I would have to stop somewhere to make a pay phone call or with someone who had phone service. I made the payment.
