I went to a Famous Footwear in Ohio. I was visiting from out of state. I attempted to purchase a pair of child's shoes for 31.00. I wrote a check and it came back "declined" to my surprise, as I've never had a check decline and I had just written a check at Kohl's that same day with no problems whatsoever. She tried to ring it again and it declined. I told her that maybe it was declining because I'm from out of state, I had no idea.
