We purchased a Maytag Dishwasher "Legacy Series" "Quiet 300" with purchase price of 650.00. Six months after warranty expired the silverware basket was falling apart causing pieces to grind in component, the coating on dishware rack was falling off causing rust. Repeated attempts to have product serviced under the "good name" of Maytag, a company that should stand behind its name and supposed quality informed me that they would sell me a "repair kit" at half price IF I purchased it within 30 days.
