We have been contacted since the Spring of 2009 about a loan modification for our home. We were told we were approved. Not true and this led us to fall behind in our mortgage which led to foreclosure proceedings. We have been contacted several times since then saying we qualify, but when it comes right down to it...we don't. Most of their calls seem to be ways for you to lose your home rather than keep it.
