Cox Cable
I've been a cox communications customer since 1997 (14 years). However, it would have ended in 2004 if not for a set of unfortunate circumstances.
Since then their DVR Motorola box has been spotty at best. I've had Cox out to service it at least once every 6 months. The following issues have been experienced;
1. Pixelation.
2. Poor/No HD service.
3. Recording error (too many to list) resulting in no program to watch
4. Recording quality so poor the show was unwatchable.

Direct Buy - Anaheim
Visited the Direct Buy website after I saw a link on another site. Decided to check it out. Looked interesting. Filled in the interest form (partially) but, closed the form without submitting it and closed the website after deciding I didn't like some of the promotional materials. They require both you & your wife to attend an "open house" and kids are not allowed (RED FLAG)!
The next day I got 5 calls (one as late as 9:40 pm) to my cell phone from them. WTF? I didn't give them any info but, they phished the information... read full review »
