I wanted to buy something from eBay, and for some reason I thought it be a good idea to get “PayPal verified”. So i gave PayPal my checking account information, and they withdrew $1.95 for their “verification process”, and said they would return the funds in a couple of days. Since I don’t like credit cards, I paid for the above mentioned eBay item by e-check with my savings account.
