I had an account with Direct TV for two years, during which time their service became increasingly worse. When my second year expired, I told their rep that I was switching over to either DISH or Verizon. The rep was crushed and offered me a "deal" - dangling a carrot to entice me to stay. Turns out the carrot wasn't worth much - mostly added programs I don't watch. "Cooking with Milton" and "Jack LaLane's Juicer" and another hundred of similar channel fillers.
