A few years ago I took my truck there to have new tires put on. After I got it back, I noticed a few hours later that this clacking sound was coming from the wheels. I was referred to this hellhole as I was "poor" at the time. When I got there I was told that I was supposed to have a referral. I was never told this on the phone when I made the appt. They also charged me FULL price cause some dumb shit dental assistant failed to tell me I was required to have one. Don't go here!!! They never have what they advertise, and are notorious for pulling a bait and switch everytime. My mother went there 3 years ago to purchase a Swiss Army watch that they advertised in the paper. When she got to the store not only did they NOT have that item, they tried to sell her a cheopo watch that wasn't even the Swiss Army brand(they didnt have ANY Swiss Army watches at all!) My event happened in 2005 with these idiots. I went to Wal Mart to cash my paycheck, and it was declined!!! I was given the number for those stupid myopic morons that work at Certegy in FL. All the cashier would tell me was that my "file" had expired and I would have to contact my payroll dept. I contacted Certegy, and no help. Guess I was just lucky. I never had any problems with RAC, except for as I was getting close to paying off the items in less than 90 days, they tried to talk me into buying more stuff that I didn't need. I paid off my stuff the day before my 90 days was up, and Im glad that I did cause otherwise I would have paid 4 times the price. I purchased a pair of glasses at this establishment. I knew and expected to pay some of the fee out of pocket due to the way my vision insurance worked. I did not have a problem with that. I had the exam, and picked out a pair of frames. All was good and I was told to check back in a few days, and they should be ready by then. I had their service, and I only have 2 weeks left on it. Read the fine print...If you cancell early they charge you an early termination fee. My ISP has gone down more times than I can count. Whenever you call them, your call is rerouted to India. My internet was down for 2 days, and the man in tech support was going to "check the line" but they would need me to hang up and they would call me on my cell phone. Uh, I don't have a cell phone! I was just about to have a new upper plate/denture made by this company for $295.00 and I read all the complaints against them on this site, and on the internet. It appears that these complaints are nationwide. I am really grateful to these other posters and I decided to take my $295.00 and use a reputable dentist who cares about his work. I do believe that cheaper is not always better. My new dentures are going to be $1, 400.00 just for the upper plate, but as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for."
