I am also a victim of a scam by Xbids.com. I had never done any penny auctions. I paid 75.00 for this and didn't realize the proceedure of their bidding. When the timer gets down to 10 seconds or so, it starts the timer again for another 10 seconds. This can go on for an hour or more for any particular item. Anyway, I requested a refund and they emailed me that I'd have my refund in 10 business days and that they'd closed the account for me and I could not get another account.
