Went for HELOC loan. Am a doctor, hi FICO score, own home, no credit card debt, and am over 55 yrs old. They asked for a ridiculous amount of info beyond what is normal. Since they couldnt find any obvious reason for denial, they started to look at my practice. I am not self employed but own the building the practice in in. Building is being leased (over 20 years) and has equity. No overdue rent or taxes.
