I have several home loans through Bank of America, it is not uncommon for my payments to not post to my account . . . not once did this happend but 3 times and after the last one that took 2 months to resolved, they still charged me late fees and it has showed up on my credit report. It takes numerous phone calls to get to the proper department that needs to handle this type of issue but no matter what the issue they can never give you their direct contact information to call them back directly.
