I too was taken for $5, 500.00 !! I contacted my bank that I wrote the checks on and was told the checks were cashed at Bank of America and deposited in the acct.#898001200587 but thats all they could do!!! My banker suggested that I call Bank Of America fraud dept. This did no good!! They wouldn't give me any info!! Remember that crooks also have privacey rights!!!
