I've called customer service 5 times in the past three months to inform GMAC that I already have flood insurance and they do not need to place a new order for me. They claimed not to receive proof of my flood insurance the first time and put the charge on my statement. Then, a submitted my insurance a second time and the agent said it was verified, and would take 3-5 days to show up on my account for the regular customer service.
