Transmission started at $1397 for my Jeep Liberty and ended up $2592. The transmission co, an AAMCO did a fine job on the work, and told me if I had come in off the street the trans. would have been around $1800 to $2000 with a 12 month/12, 000 mile warranty. Now for the part that I am REALLY upset about: The warranty. Went from a misleading Lifetime/Unlimited mileage over the phone, to a Lifetime/Unlimited mileage (whichever comes first) Limited Pro-Rated warranty.
