I was rear ended at a stop light by an insured of MetLife. He was going very fast and hit me when I was at a dead stop. I was taken to the emergency room, I had about $5, 000 in medical costs. Luckily I was not seriously injured, I was stiff for about a month. I told MetLife that all I wanted to be reimbursed for were my actual monetary losses. I could have sued them for $10, 000 to $15, 000 dollars, but didn't feel right doing that considering my injuries were minor. Well, all I can say is I should have gotten an Attorney.
