I have been with T-mobile for 10years and never had a problem until now. The T-mobile representative told me that when I add lines to my family plan that I would not be renewing my contract on the old lines. I decided to get new 2 lines and couple months later I decided to cancel my old lines and now T-mobile representative is telling me that all the lines' contract has been renewed so if I cancel the 2 old lines they would charge me $500 for cancelling the 2 old lines.
